關於本站

創刊於一九七七年十一月一日的《爭鳴》月刊，二十多年來本著「客觀、公正、開放」的宗旨，對兩岸三地政情，尤其是中國大陸政局情況和問題提供獨到報道和深刻的分析，是香港擁有最多讀者的政論雜誌。

在邁向二零零零年之際，《爭鳴》月刊以及姊妹刊物《動向》銳意革新，並在網上與廣大讀者見面，希望藉著資訊科技的發展，為中國的民主化進一步盡自己的力量。

Cheng Ming Monthly was first published on November 1st 1977. For more than twenty years, it has shown its commitment to three principles-objectivity,openness and impartiality-to provide exclusive reports and in-depth analysis on the political situation in mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Cheng Ming is also the most widely read political magazine published in Hong Kong.

As the new millennium approaches, Cheng Ming and its sister publication The  Trend  have decided  to  keep  up with   the times and  can  now  be accessed online to  further the cause of democratisation in China  through information technology.
